Morning starters – 3-5 minute mindfulness exercises
Please try to complete the daily exercises as a family and keep talking to a minimum unless supporting. High Dependency students can have a partner stimulate the relevant body parts during exercises.
If students prefer, they can continue to complete their individualised work but hopefully the tasks are something the whole family can get involved in.
MONDAY: Mindfulness Starter - Breathing
TUESDAY: Mindfulness Starter - Sensing into body
WEDNESDAY: Mindfulness Starter - Focus
THURSDAY: Mindfulness Starter - Rainbow Breathing
FRIDAY: Mindfulness Starter - Melting Anxiety
Student choice between 5 and 10 minute. Please encourage and support the students to keep a log of the videos they watch and how engaged they were with them. This could be a start rating from 1-10. At the end of the week have a look back and see which their favourite video was, was it a surprise?
